Vocational Services at Cerebral Palsy, Inc. (CP) assists individuals in finding a job that fits their skills and interests.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT and JOB PLACEMENT may include:
  • Job development
  • Job analysis
  • Career exploration
  • Resume development
  • Interview skills training
  • Community skills training
  • Worksite accommodations
  • One on one job training
  • Development of natural supports
  • Follow up services

Support Services may include:

  • Service coordination
  • Interpreter scheduling
  • Transportation coordination
  • Job coaching
  • Employer follow-up

CP may provide a SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT ASSESSMENT. This includes a functional community based assessment for persons with severe physical disabilities and/or severe multiple handicaps. The evaluation may include but is not limited to:

  • Interest survey
  • Mobility
  • Communication
  • Functional academics
  • Social skills
  • Job experiences
  • Accommodations and adaptations
  • Recommendations and referrals to Ancillary Services
