Augmentative Communication
AT is committed to providing children and adults who cannot speak, no matter what their diagnosis, with an alternative means of communication. These systems range from non-speech communication boards to sophisticated, computer based devices with speech output. A team approach is used throughout the assessment and any recommended equipment trial.
AT houses state-of-the-art augmentative equipment from various vendors, assuring participants hands-on experience for all consultations, assessments and formal equipment trials.
GOAL:
To provide alternative communication solutions for personal, educational and employment opportunities. Our consumers receive complete services starting with the assessment to equipment orders, placement and training.
Adaptive Computer Access
This program is designed to provide children and adults who have any type of physical, visual, hearing or cognitive challenge with an alternative means to access the standard home, school or business computer.
