This week a group of our clients went to visit with the 2nd semester Occupational Therapy Assistant students at Fox Valley Technical College. We discussed our mission and talked about our program, opportunities for volunteering, fieldwork placement and the various roles within Adult Day Services. The #OTA students worked hands-on with our clients learning how to test and provide range of motion. They tested our clients in a variety of assessments both standardized and through different activities they had planned out for us. #communityoutreach #celebratingallabilities

Today our Service Learning class had the opportunity to talk with a Human Development class at UWGB. It's also a great opportunity for students to learn more about our abilities and have the chance to ask us any questions they might have!

We celebrated Earth Day in many ways last week & continue to! Here is our Tuesday morning Service Learning class working on their seeded paper project! We made paper from recycled paper and put flower seeds in it so the paper can be recycled by planting it. The class gifted these and after reading and planting the sweet notes, beautiful flowers will grow!

CP Fox Cities is celebrating Earth Day and Earth Week. Earlier this week we made earth smoothies: spinach, blueberries and bananas. Today we collected trash in the trees and fence line around our Center and our neighbors. Happy Earth Day!
